Newly expanded roadway closure alert system

Commuters will now be able to receive real-time notifications of major roadway closures in the Philadelphia region by subscribing to a new emergency text messaging service called ReadyNotifyPA. See press release
 
By signing up to the ReadyNotifyPA system, subscribers will receive real-time alerts when any of the major roadways are closed and reopened due to a vehicular crash, weather incident, emergency roadwork, or another unexpected event. Roadways include I-76, I-95, I-476, I-676, PA 10, PA 30, PA 100, PA 309, PA 611, US 1, US 202, US 322, and US 422.

Southeastern Pennsylvania residents can sign up for free by visiting www.ReadyNotifyPA.org.
