The Philly Phanatic paid a visit to St. Cecilia’s grade school in Fox Chase yesterday.

Mrs. Grogen’s third-grade class was honored for being a top participant in the “Be a Phanatic About Reading” program, and her students won a championship parade for school’s 700-plus students.

The Phanatic brought the glittering World Series trophy with him and made sure to give principal Sr. Lisa a kiss before leaving.

The Phillies’ “Be a Phanatic About Reading Night” is May 29 at Citizens Bank Park, where the top 10 most improved and top 10 most outstanding student readers will be honored.
