Possible prostitution ring discovered at Boulevard Ramada

Police came across what may be a prostitution ring at the Ramada Inn on Roosevelt Boulevard. Officers looking for a defendant in a drug case discovered 11 women in the hotel near Comly Road late Sunday night. Some of the women claimed they were being held against their will, and two are alleged victims of sexual assault.

More information and video below.

One suspect, John Lee, faces sexual and aggravated assault charges against the two women, but is currently not facing charges related to prostitution.  Lee has been staying at the hotel since Thursday, and authorities believe Craigslist or another social networking site may have played a role in the situation.

The women are from Mt. Laurel, N.J., West Virginia and Philadelphia. John Lee is also from Philadelphia.
