Dawejko, a junior heavyweight champion before turning pro last September, easily bested Ricardo Johnson in 47 seconds of the first round of what was to have been a four-round bout. A soft-spoken gentleman, Dawejko is not soft with his punches. If he has a jab, he didn’t show it, choosing instead to rely on punishing body shots with both his right and his left to put Johnson down on his knee.
