Northeast Detectives is asking for help in discovering the identity of a man who has been robbing 7-Eleven stores in the 15th Police District since December
. The man has robbed eight store locations, with the latest being at the 7-Eleven at 6927 Torresdale Ave.
in Tacony Monday.
The suspect has been described as a white male in his 20s, under 6 feet tall, with a thin to medium build. He can usually be seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and a black mask over his mouth and nose. He has been carrying a black handgun. All information on the suspect can be given to Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153.

PECO crews were at the scene of an accident on Bustleton Avenue yesterday. The accident caused a utility pole and electrical wires to fall down
. The 6200-block of Bustleton Avenue
between Devereaux Avenue and McKinley street was closed until all repairs were made.
A New Jersey woman is suing the operator of the former Pure Nightclub (now Voyeur) for failure in running a safe establishment
. In 2008, Afif Bakir, 39, formerly of Wissinoming, raped the woman inside a storage closet. He pleaded guilty to sexual assault, among other charges. Since October 2009, Bakir has been serving an 11-and-a-half-to-23-month sentence at the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center
in Northeast Philadelphia.
