Reader Submission: 8th PDAC welcomes new member, honors two officers

On Wednesday, March 3, the 8th Police District  Advisory Council met for its monthly meeting at Academy and Red Lion roads.

The evening’s guest speakers were State Rep. Brendan Boyle and James Donaghy from the city’s Department of Commerce.

The Executive Board honored two 8th District officers as Officers of the Month: Daniel Ruben and Patrick Devlin. Two civilians were also honored for their work in the community: Jack Tolchin of the Parkwood Townwatch and Rosemary Montagno, chairwoman of the nominating and bylaws committees. Community Relations Officer Harry Taylor was also introduced as our newest member.
