Tacony company owns bus that crashed

It’s been revealed the bus that crashed on I-95 in Port Richmond Monday is owned by a company in Tacony.

Del Val Services on Torresdale Avenue and Knorr Street owns the bus, which was carrying a group of temporary workers returning from a day in Camden County, N.J.

The bus driver did not have the proper license at the time of the crash, which injured 16 of the the 22 passengers. According to a report from the Philadelphia Inquirer, Del Val Services and its sister company are facing two tax liens totaling more than $50,000.

NEast Philly’s call to Del Val Services has not been returned.
