PHMC wants help preserving history

In preparation for changes to the State Historic Preservation Office’s historic preservation plan, the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission is seeking the public’s help in deciding how best to preserve our state’s history.

All business owners, community leaders and individuals are encouraged to take this survey (we took it; it was only five minutes) to determine how the PHMC should amend the preservation plan, which expires in 2011.

The survey asks questions based around government spending, tax dollars, private grants and how those fiscal resources can and should be used to help beautify our city and state and preserve history.
