Frankford park association says resident to blame for damaged trees

The Friends of Overington, a group of residents that have helped revive the Frankford neighborhood’s Overington Park, say that a careless resident is reponsible for damage to 28 new trees planted in the last year-and-a-half. “You put in years of work to bring the park up, and one guy can destroy it in a summer,” John Neugebauer, head of the park association, told the Inquirer.
