Breaking: Police fatally shoot man in Frankford
Breaking news from West Frankford Town Watch:
Around 10:15 Thursday, police became involved in a pursuit when they heard gunshots near the 1500-block of Bridge Street in Frankford. They came upon a group of males, one of whom had a gun. Despite warnings from the officer, the male, whose name and age have not been released, refused to show his hands.
The office shot the male twice in the chest on the 5100-block of Charles Street. The suspect was pronounced dead at 10:36 p.m. at Aria Health-Torresdale.
