Three students arrested for injury of Frankford High officer

Three students at Frankford High School have been taken into custody in connection with injuries to an officer at the school.

It started Tuesday morning when the officer attempted to arrest a 15-year-old tenth grade for a warrant by the Philadelphia Police Department for disorderly conduct. The teenager reportedly resisted arrest and assaulted the officer, who received facial injuries and lost teeth.

Two other students — 18- and 16-year-old freshmen males — joined the attack, and were also taken into custody.

The students will be charged with aggravated assault.
