Philadelphia’s Bike Network of the Future

Phase 1 of the Philadelphia Pedestrian Bicycle Plan has been completed and is now available online. The Planning Commission adopted the Philadelphia Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan on Tuesday.

This plan will allow for better bike usage throughout the city, as well as safer pedestrian walk ways and increased bike trails. Phase 1 shows an extensive map and proposal on how the legislation will be carried out around Philadelphia and locations for new bike trails and development. The Phase II  questionnaire is also available and can be accessed through the Philadelphia Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan website. See previous coverage here.
