Dog of the Week: Pita

Pita (A12408690) is an adorable, very wiggly terrier mix and she is SO happy to meet you!  A young stray brought in on Feb. 16, she appears to be an ex-mama dog and is very thin. She is a little shy at first, but she loves getting pet and is very friendly. She will wag her tail like crazy once she gets comfortable with you – basically in about 5 minutes, and is obviously very happy to be interacting with you.

She showed no interest in cats and loved playing with her doggie friends. She was even very tolerant with a dog that was acting dominant toward her. She’s really a gem of a dog. Please consider adding this wonderful dog to your family!! Please contact Jill Sweeney in the Life Saving Department of the Animal Care and Control Team.
