Minor injuries for firefighter battling Frankford blaze
A firefighter sustained minor injuries early Saturday morning in Frankford. West Frankford Town Watch reports the fire broke out in a single-family home on the 4700-block of Charles Terrace around 3:30 a.m.
The firefighter was transported to the hospital with minor cuts, and the Red Cross was called to help the displaced family. No word yet on the cause of the fire.
