Dog of the Week: Chase

Chase (A13353506 ) is an incredibly sweet and playful 1- to 2-year-old terrier mix.

Poor Chase is extremely frightened in the shelter. Being surrounded by barking dogs is making him very nervous. As soon as Chase gets outside into one of the runs, he turns into a completely different dog — gains confidence and is ready to play! He would chase a tennis ball and play with squeaky toys in between looking for affection from people.

As you can tell from his photos, he’s a super cute boy and looking for someone who can play with him and then be happy to relax and share a spot on the couch with him. In the shelter he was introduced to several dogs and brought into the cat room; however, he was so nervous and upset that it was difficult to test him. He showed no aggression or problems, but should be retested and a dog meet is required. It is very obvious that Chase would be a wonderful pet, but he is just not handling shelter life very well. Won’t you consider bringing Chase home because he’s definitely a keeper!
