Dog of the Week: Eli

Eli — formerly known as LL Cool J — (A13375074) is a 1- to 2-year-old male terrier mix who was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. He is a very friendly guy with unique colorings. He is a playful boy and loves fetch and gets very excited if you pick up a ball.

He is also a smart boy and already knows “sit,” and his pen pal is working on “paw,” “down” and “stay.” Eli’s leash manners are good; however. if he sees another dog he gets very excited and will pull in their direction. Eli loves belly rubs and to roll around upside down in the grass. When he’s not playing, he will come over for attention and he’s will lean his full bodyweight into you for some scratches and attention.

Eli showed no interest in cats, but if you have cats let us know and we can test him again. He did well with the dogs he met and we imagine he will be much more playful once he gets into a forever home. Please bring any dogs or small children when you come to meethim to make sure it’s a perfect fit for everyone. This handsome boy wants you to comemeet him today. ACCT is full and he needs a home! For more info on Eli contact his penpal jlsphotographer AT gmail.com.
