Ale & Arts Walking Adventure

This summer the Mural Arts Program is offering the opportunity to look at the numerous murals that adorn many bars in Phildelphia (as well as some of the libations that adorn the backbar inside). These guided tours will happen every week throughout the summer, beginning Thursday, Memorial Day and ending on Labor Day, with each tour lasting from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

On these walking tours, a guide will educate and explain about 10 iconic murals to tour guests. The guide will also relate the history of the bars involved, including Philadelphia’s oldest, McGillin’s Olde Ale House, the very cool graffiti bar at Sampan, and Philly favorite, The Field House.

ITINERARY
5:30 p.m. – Check-in at The Field House and grab a drink
6:00 p.m. – Depart on the Ale & Arts Adventure
6:45 p.m. – Stop at McGillin’s Olde Ale House for a history of Philly’s oldest continuously operating tavern and a brew.
7:30 p.m. – Stop at Sampan’s Graffiti Bar, aka the most artful place to throw back a brew in Center City.
8:00 p.m. – Return to The Field House for another complimentary beer.
 
PLEASE NOTE…
1. The tour departs from and returns to The Field House (1150 Filbert St).
2. Arrive promptly at 5:30 p.m., there is no refund for late or missed tours.
3. The tour ends at approximately 8:00 p.m.
4. $30 per person includes tour and four beverages.
5. Food is not included, guests are encouraged to arrive early or stay late at The Field House for a bite to eat..

TICKETS
The Mural Arts Program uses a ticketless reservation system. When you purchase your tickets online, you will receive an email confirmation for your record. The name of your party will automatically be added to our tour reservation list. Just show up to the tour departure point with your photo identification, and our staff will check you in as our special guest. It’s that easy!
