Saturday — A man was found shot in Mayfair early Saturday morning on the 6300-block of Frankford Avenue. According to reports and accounts from neighbors, the man was shot multiple times in a home on the 3100-block of Levick Street. He was taken to Aria Health-Torresdale after being found on the Avenue.

A standoff that began early Saturday morning ended around noon when suspects surrendered to police in Frankford. Tips from West Frankford Town Watch indicate two suspects involved in a hold-up on Wakeling Street and fled to a house on the 4900-block of Saul Street. Officers initiated the standoff when it was determined there were kids in the house.

Police are searching for the man who jumped into the Delaware River late Saturday night. The man reportedly jumped out of a boat near the Tacony-Palmyra bridge while the driver was being questioned by Pennsylvania Fish and Game officer about drinking on board. A body pulled Sunday morning from the river near Palmyra has not yet been identified.
