Dog of the Week: La Bella

La Bella is an incredibly sweet, spayed, adult female Terrier mix that came into the shelter as an owner surrender.

Her previous family were not allowed to have dogs where they were living so they had to give her up – poor girl was kicked out of the only home she’s known. La Bella is affectionate toward people and would love to jump in your lap for a nice pet and cuddle. She is ok with cats and other dogs, but to ensure a good match please bring all resident dogs down to meet La Bella!

This sweet girl needs to find a forever or foster home asap as the shelter is full and in need of space for more dogs that come in. Please bring the family down to meet this angel & give her the home she so desperately desires.

These animals are located at Philadelphia’s animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care. ACCT is located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave and is open 365 days a year. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday; 1pm-8pm; Saturday and Sunday; 10am-5pm. To check the status of an animal, call 267-385-3800. Check in every week with NEast Philly to see the cat and dog of the week.
