NEast Links: Home invasion suspects sought, trains don’t meet their platforms, Mayfair Civic sees high attendance

NEast Links: Bringing you additional Northeast news

Mayfair Civic Association meetings have been moved to the third Monday of every other month. The March meeting drew more than 100 people, and the association discussed a dog park, the Shamrock Shuttle and several zoning issues [Mayfair Civic Association].

City Howl took a ride with Andrea Werbock, who has the same complaint we hear from many people who ride SEPTA’s Trenton Line: the train doesn’t line up with the stations’ step-up platforms, forcing riders to jump on and off the train. The complaint is a common one at Tacony, Holmesburg and Torresdale stations [City Howl].

Police are still looking for the suspects involved in a violent home invasion Sunday on the 1400-block of McKinley Street. Northeast Detectives is asking the public to view surveillance footage and contact authorities with tips and information on the suspects’ whereabouts [Philadelphia Police].
