Cat of the Week: Sassy

This Sassy but sweet girl is looking for her second shot at a forever family!

She thought she found it her first time in the shelter, only to be returned a year later for supposedly scratching a child while playing. While the scratch was likely an accident, we wouldn’t blame Sassy for being a bit touchy. Upon her return to the shelter, it was discovered that Sassy’s short-haired coat was so badly matted her whole back had to be shaved!

Despite her troubles, Sassy isn’t holding any grudges. Her love for people and attention is obvious as soon as you get near her cage. Sassy will rub against the front of her cage until you finally open the door and give her the pets and cuddles that she desires.

But it’s not all one-sided; Sassy is happy to return your affection by giving your hand little kisses! This adorably pudgy grey-and-white girl is ready to kiss the shelter goodbye once and for all. Can you help her make that happen? Sassy is already spayed and ready to go today!
