Dog of the Week: Brutus

What a smile! Meet Brutus (A16048665), a handsome, 1- to 2-year-old white and brown pit bull terrier mix. He’s on the smaller size, weighing only about 34 lbs.

Brutus has a classic pit bull smile and wonderful big head. He was found as a stray and brought into ACCT by a nice police officer.

Brutus is very friendly and loves attention. He also likes to climb right into your lap and stay close to you. It’s not likely he is used to walking on a leash, but the volunteers at the shelter are already helping him get used to it.

Brutus met a few cats at the shelter and didn’t show much interest, but he should tested again before he goes to a home with kitties. He also met some dogs and likes their company and playing with them. If you have a dog at home, a meet with your dog and Brutus is required.

Brutus will make a great companion, and who wouldn’t love to wake up to that face every day! Brutus is waiting at ACCT to meet you – don’t keep him waiting any longer!
