News from The Friends of Race Street Pier
The Friends of Race Street Pier held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 12th at the Race Street Pier. We had a good turnout and met a few new friends! Thanks to everyone that attended. The notes from the meeting are attached.
The group is getting ready to host the July 6th First Friday celebration. We’ve invited the West Philadelphia Orchestra, Trinadelphia, and a DJ to provide entertainment. Plus, a handful of great food trucks will be on hand to satisfy your dinner, coffee, and dessert cravings. Stay informed about the First Friday event by following us on Facebook and Twitter.
Also, PHS has rescheduled the Gardening Get Together for Tuesday, June 26th at 6:30. Meet on the pier. PHS is interested in helping to make gardening on the pier a more regular thing. Bring your friends to help us show PHS that this is something that the community would like to do!
