Monsignor William Lynn was found guilty Friday of one count of child endangerment after being named last year in a grand jury report for allegedly helping to reassign Philadelphia priests accused of child molestation. The jury was hung on charges for Fr. James Brennan, former of St. Jerome’s parish in Holme Circle [NewsWorks].

Three of five mural designs planned for Frankford have been revealed. Artist Cesar Viveros worked with neighborhood residents and business owners to come up with the designs, which new and old elements of Frankford [Frankford Gazette].

A party in East Torresdale Saturday was a bittersweet celebration for Philadelphia firefighters. Family and friends gathered to honor Pat Nally, who was injured in the April fire in Kensington that left two firefighters dead. Nally is recovering from broken bones in his back and pelvis [Inquirer].
