Pennypack man arrested for 7-Eleven robbery [updated]

Police have arrested the man they believe robbed the 7-Eleven at 9901 Frankford Ave. near Knights Road earlier this month.

Brian Boedecker was arrested Nov. 15 after Northeast Detectives received information that the 33-year-old Pennpack Woods resident was in the area.

Around 6:30 a.m. Nov. 1, the suspect, seen on surveillance footage, pulled a handgun on the clerk who had turned around to reach for a pack of cigarettes.

The thief fled with $280.

At the time, the suspect was described as a white male wearing a gray hoodie and black jacket; 26 to 27 years-of-age, between 5’6″-5’8″ and 140-145 lbs. He wore black gloves during the robbery.
