Summerdale man charged with pulling gun on SEPTA driver

The Philadelphia District Attorney’s office announced Wednesday charges against a Summerdale man accused of pulling a gun on a SEPTA bus driver.

Walter Thompson, of the 800-block of Marcella Street, has been charged with aggravated assault, violation of the firearms act, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

Thompson, 20, is accused of pulling a gun on the No. 24 bus driver last week when the driver missed his stop. He is being held on $150,000 bail and is due in court mid-February.
