Suspect sought in Mayfair bank robbery

Police in the 15th District and the FBI are on the hunt for the man who robbed a Mayfair bank Monday. The suspect entered the Wells Fargo at 6420 Frankford Ave. around 9:30 Monday morning and demanded money from a teller. He fled south on Frankford Avenue with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a white male between 40 and 50 years of age with blue eyes and a medium build. He’s approximately 6 feet tall, and was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, a blue knit cap and white gloves at the time of the robbery.
