Fox Chase Cancer Center CEO has expansion on the brain

Dr. Richard I. Fisher was named the new CEO of Fox Chase Center in June, but he already has big ideas for the campus and its neighbor, Jeanes Hospital.

“We’re going to build a major hematologic malignancy program here, particularly in the areas of lymphoma and bone marrow transplants,” Fisher told the Business Journal.

Fisher said FCCC will integrate the bone marrow transplant program former part of Temple University Hospital, and says Jeanes’ cancer programs will be more closely tied to the center.
