Teenaged Somerton shooting victim was killed by friend

As police initially indicated, the Aug. 19 shooting that left Daquan Crump dead at a Somerton construction site was personal.

Crump’s body was discovered riddled with bullets in a work zone on the 10000-block of Northeast Avenue. His childhood friend, Malik Anderson, has been charged.

Anderson, 19, reportedly plotted with Crump, also 19, to steal a friend’s PlayStation 3. But Crump went ahead with the plan without Anderson. Anderson was taken into custody after authorities found the gun in his refrigerator.
