Armed man robs Castor Gardens bar
Police are looking for the man who robbed the Castor Bar, 6641 Castor Ave., Tuesday and attacked an employee.
The female employee was opening the bar around 7:30 a.m. when the suspect entered with a handgun. He asked for the bathroom when he saw the employee, but returned a short time later with a knife and demanded money.
He pushed the employee out of the way and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.
The suspect is described as a white man around 30 years old with red/auburn crew cut hair. He was wearing a gray fleece hoodie, blue jeans and white sneakers at the time of the robbery.
