Charges filed for death of Somerton man found in Schuylkill River

Three people have been charged in connection with the death and dismemberment of a Somerton man whose body was pulled from the Schuylkill River earlier this week.

Francis Zarzycki of Somerton was reported missing last week by his family, and police have now pieced together the events leading up to his death in Center City.

According to reports, Zarzycki, 40, was visiting an apartment he was familiar with at 11th and Locus Street, but unlike his other trips there, alleged prostitutes Angel Weston and Stephanie Foulke were there with their alleged pimp, Keith Tolbert, to rob Zarzycki.

Zarzycki was zapped with a stun gun and suffocated before his body was cut, stuffed into a bag and dumped into the river.

Weston, Foulke and Tolbert have all be charged, and police continue to look for the rest of Zarzycki’s remains and other evidence.
