Mayfair Civic Association hosts Halloween decorating contest
Get the lights, the pumpkins and the creepy music out. The Mayfair Civic Association is holding a Halloween decorating contest for people who live within the group’s boundaries.
Starting Wednesday, 13 judges will be cruising the neighborhood to judge the entries. Homes that are nominated will be published to a map so others can check out the scary displays.

Contact mayfaircivicassociation [AT] yahoo.com to let volunteers know where the best-decorated houses in the neighborhood are. Mayfair Business Association members have donated undisclosed prizes to be awarded to the winners, and all winners will receive a lawn sign for display.
Three winners will be notified the night of Oct. 30.
