Since Ryan Debold is still cranking out geospatial data maps for PennPraxis for a few more days, we asked him for a map of where all the 2015 Mayoral candidates and speculated candidates live (or at least are registered to vote.) All the candidates are registered voters, so their names and addresses are publicly available in the voter file.
This is hardly determinative of anything, but seeing which areas of the city politicians choose to live can be illuminating as to how they see Philadelphia's built environment, what kinds of neighborhoods they want to create, and other policy-relevant questions.
