The 2014 midterms are over, but some of the most important campaigns are just heating up. Conservative Republicans want to oust state Senate Majority leader Dominic Pileggi (R-Chester), and Democratic Rep. Mike Sturla is running to replace Rep. Frank Dermody, blaming him for the party’s 8-seat loss in the state House in spite of Governor-elect Tom Wolf’s 10-point win.

Residents want enforcement for four illegal parking spaces at the intersection of Germantown and W. Mt Airy, citing safety and visibility concerns.
