Controller Alan Butkovitz says he won’t run for Mayor in 2015. Former Nutter spokesman Doug Oliver is forming an exploratory committee for a Mayoral run, possibly as a Republican.

We now have some details on Bart Blatstein’s proposal for the massive empty lot at Broad and Washington. Two ~30-story towers, each with 500-800 units, on a ground floor retail pad. At this stage, the plan is for a superblock with no through crossing for pedestrians.
