Lots of political news this morning. PA Treasurer Rob McCord is resigning as of February 12th. Read the resignation letter he submitted to Tom Wolf. There’s a key early labor endorsement for Jim Kenney. Ori Feibush wants 10 (!) debates with Councilman Kenyatta Johnson. Seth Kaplan, Rep. Kevin Boyle’s chief of staff, will not wage an independent bid for the 170th House district. Ex-Congressional candidate Valerie Arkoosh was appointed to the vacant Montgomery County Commissioner seat vacated by Leslie Richards, Tom Wolf’s nominee for PennDOT. And is state Senator Vince Hughes planning a run for US Senate in 2016?

Here’s what the Philly tech community wants to hear from the 2015 candidates. 

“Free” parking isn’t really free. You can think of it as an invisible sales tax on goods, services, housing, and office space.

The state Public Utility Commission set new age and mileage limits for PA taxis, and some cab companies are not happy. Philly’s taxis are regulated by the Philadelphia Parking Authority, not PUC.
