Nationally, it’s been getting harder for people to find a job close to home. Zoning rules important factor in this discussion, because it determines how far apart buildings have to be, and whether commercial uses can be mixed in with residential uses. 

Wealthier areas of cities tend to have more street tree coverage, but Philadelphia does a better job than most of equalizing tree cover.
