Bensalem, Delaware County, and Bristol Township have also contracted Amazon fever, WHYY’s Laura Benshoff reports. The suburban Philadelphia communities are pitching land, talent pool from nearby colleges, proximity to transportation networks, and lower taxes (though not tax breaks). Bristol Township Council President Craig Bowen listed Philadelphia’s wage tax and stormwater-management requirements as downsides.
