The 2014 PHS Pop Up Garden

A tropical breeze will waft down the west side of South Street this summer. The fourth annual Pop Up Garden is now open at 1438 South Street. Stop by this season for tropical cocktails, beer and wine. Enjoy performances by local musicians. Savor tasty bites from the Jamaican Jerk Hut, next to the Pop Up Garden, plus a rotation of food trucks throughout the summer. PHS Fall Festival

The PHS Fall Festival is the region’s premier celebration of the autumn planting season! Held annually at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, this outdoor festival features the Plant Dividend tent, providing new and existing PHS members with free plants. Join or renew your membership on site and receive a free gift! PECO Green Roof Tour

Want to learn about green roof technology and how it can help the environment? The 45,000 square foot PECO green roof, maintained by PHS, features an observation deck and stunning downtown views of downtown Philadelphia. Space is limited to 25 people per tour, and pre-registration at least two business days before the tour is required. Tour participants must be at least 18 years of age.
