DAG Hosts "Rebuilding Philadelphia Neighborhoods, One Community Space at a Time"

Rebuild's Executive Director Nicole Westerman and Kira Strong, Rebuild's deputy director of design and construction, will provide an overview and status update of Rebuild, a.k.a. Philadelphia’s Rebuilding Community Infrastructure initiative.  Rebuild is Mayor Jim Kenney’s seven-year, $500 million program to revitalize neighborhood parks, recreation centers, playgrounds and libraries with the goals of promoting equity and encouraging economic growth across the city. These improvements are also intended to promote educational opportunities for children, support healthy lifestyles for all, improve public safety in our shared spaces and create jobs for Philadelphians.
