While at St. Joseph’s University, Jennifer interned at the Center City District and the University City District, motivating her to pursue a career in city planning. In 2004, she received a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
After graduate school, Jennifer worked for Remington & Vernick Engineers in Haddonfield, New Jersey as an assistant municipal planner. As a consultant there she conducted charrettes and prepared and presented master plans, ordinance revisions, and redevelopment reports for a number of municipalities.
Jennifer has been a community planner at the Philadelphia City Planning Commission since 2006, where she has managed several projects including the Germantown and Nicetown Transit-Oriented Plan and the Hunting Park West Industrial Area Study. Jennifer also was the team leader for Thrive section of Philadelphia2035, the Citywide Vision and the Lower South District Plan. Currently she is the community planner for South and Southwest Philadelphia.
