Senior URS Archeologists Douglas Mooney & George Cress, and other experts (including local historian Kenneth Milano) reveal exciting findings unearthed from PennDOT’s I-95/Girard Avenue Interchange Improvement Project (GIR). 

 

Learn about ancient Indian settlements, Gunner’s Run (below Aramingo Ave.) and  the Cramps Building slated to be demolished in 2011! – all in the neighborhood.

This community event will have stories, actual artifacts (above), video, maps, photos & lots of fun! 

 

Information will be there about Interstate 95 improvements, riverfront planning process, and local events from CDAG member organizations, PennDOT & GIR Sustainable Action Committee members, the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, NKCDC  & other community people & organizations for participating in this community event!
