A classic British science fiction film directed by William Cameron Menzies. The cautionary tale of a 30-year world war that reduces humanity to half of it's former population, this films features fantastical visions of the future from the mind of one of science fictions greatest writers, H.G. Wells. This event is part of a series hosted by John DeFazio, AIA (Architect & Associate Professor @ Drexel University) and Nick Groch, Assoc. AIA, which screens films that explore ideas and themes on architecture and architects. The theme for all films in the 2010/2011 series is "The City." Discussion is encouraged.
