Better Blocks Philly is a traffic calming and pedestrian safety demonstration project designed to educate and exhibit techniques that are intended to ultimately save lives while creating a more livable and sustainable city.
With Wallace Roberts & Todd (WRT) as our Lead Design Coordinator and Brown & Keener as our Lead Programming and Sponsorship Coordinator, Better Blocks is part of this year’s Design Philadelphia. Better Blocks is a living and functioning exhibit of “complete street” concepts including temporary traffic calming devices, streetscaping, and pop-up shops.
