World renowned environmental leader, author and activist, Dr. Vandana Shiva will be making a special appearance at the Academy of Natural Sciences. Dr. Shiva, who holds a Ph.D. in Physics, is the author of numerous books and over 300 articles, has focused her work on connections between poverty, sustainability, agriculture and human rights, particularly the full participation of women in society.
