Growing demands to upgrade deteriorating public infrastructure, combined with dwindling municipal and state budgets, have led to a dramatic increase in the use of Public/Private Partnerships (P3). Learn about how P3s can fill the gap to construct roads, bridges, public transit, public buildings, water systems, educational facilities and more, and get a tri-state legislative update - all on Thursday, August 26, from 8:30-10:30am at the offices of the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission on Independence Mall.
Confirmed speakers are John A. Flaherty, Principal-Global Infrastructure, The Carlyle Group; Dennis Martin, President, The Keating Group; State Senator John Rafferty (PA-44); Frank Rapoport, Partner, McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP; and The Honorable Richard A. Zimmer, Chair, New Jersey Privatization Task Force. The Honorable Edward G. Rendell, Governor, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, has also been invited as he has taken a special interest in this issue.
