Happily, the abandoned R6 train line is being transformed into the Cynwyd Heritage Trail, a walking trail stretching from the Cynwyd train station all the way to the Schuylkill River. Over the last few years, there have been fast hikes, bird walks, and work sessions along the trail.

So here's another flavor of walk: on a Sunday stroll, we'll explore the nature of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail, examining the trees and weeds, bird and bees, even the creek flowing along the trail. Activities for all ages will be offered as we walk.
