SEPTA and City of Philadelphia Emergency Management officials will announce the addition of real-time SEPTA transit alerts to ReadyNotifyPA, the City of Philadelphia’s text and e-mail alert system.

The addition of SEPTA alerts to ReadyNotifyPA provides customers with a convenient tool for real-time transit updates, which are also available at SEPTA's Web site, www.septa.org, and on SEPTA's Twitter feed. Officials will demonstrate the features of ReadyNotifyPA and how customers can sign up for SEPTA alerts during a press conference in SEPTAís Control Center.
