Join us at the Asian Arts Initiative for a spoken word celebration. Youth from our Mural Corps and Big Picture art education programs have been exploring spoken word as a vehicle to build reading, writing, sharing and reflecting skills. Students have also engaged in text based art-making that will be incorporated into the design for a professional mural. Come hear what our kids have to say!
