PlanPhilly: Planning Philadelphia's Future

The first step in our Spring Garden Greenway improvement project comes Saturday, May 22!  We'll be planting 55 cedar trees along the I-95 right-of-ways. These trees will obscure the ugly highway overpass and start us on the way to making the Spring Garden corridor better looking, greener, and more usable - a gateway to the El and to the riverfront.

This will take lots of volunteers to help plant the trees - and volunteers to help dig the holes the day before, May 21.  If you can be involved for the day or a half-day on the 21st or 22nd, please email:
